update: since last July-20-2021, I have started using FT8, FT4 and PSK-31 I am uploading contacts from 100 to 100 on qrz.com and on LotW. I hope we can also make contact in these digital modes as well as in phone and DMR .... 73

last February 01 to 07 of 2020
I was again in Cocos Island, doing the Dxpedition TI9A
in the company of three good friends such as; Dima RA9USU, Mat RM2D, & Andy UA3AB.
This time we were in Bahia Chatham, but unlike the previous dxpedition in 2015, we were completely without electricity, without internet and in the Shack abandoned by the Park Rangers more than 3 years ago, however thanks to the high spirit of our cooperation, we managed to do the task and put Cocos Island TI9A back on the air.
We did more than 30,000 qsos and that could only be done thanks to each and every one of you who contacted us in the different modalities.
Thank you very much from me and the TI9A team !!!!!

update: 2-10-2020
During the previous week I was working 24/7 in the assembly, assembly and installation of the RR33W antenna of www.quad.ru
It is a HEXABEAM type antenna for 20-17-12 mts
We leave it installed at a height of 12 meters from the ground.
the performance of the antenna is extraordinary, it has a very low noise threshold and does not require an antenna tuner in all 3 bands.

Hello friends. I am Jorge, I have been Amateur Radio since the age of 13 years. I started in 1982 starting the school. I have had the opportunity to do several dxpeditions with famous amateur radio teachers like RA9USU DIMA, who is the Maestro of the CW. As well as sp8siw Mek And 3z9dx. I have some memories with these new friends. With Dima I still maintain a good friendship and we talk for whatsapp or via cell phone. I have learned a lot and I am grateful for all of Dima's heart. Also from friends from Belarus, like Andy EU7A, or from the United States as are my BROTHERS Fred KK4OW and Paula KK4OK. Who have supported me when I have made the requests. But first and foremost, I must thank my beloved wife, who when I was about to leave everything, she gave me all her support and strength and I did not let go ... thanks Pame TI3PAN. Also to my beloved children !!! Here we will be watching the world map to see what other dxpedition we perform.....
